To know Lyle is to recognize the beautiful web of characteristics that makes him a caring, thoughtful, passionate, funny, and loving husband. From our first interaction so many years ago, to now building a life together – Lyle is consistent and unwavering in embracing who he is while recognizing the beauty of change and evolution. 

 

Lyle is a protector – of his friends, family, and those he cares most deeply about. One of the most attractive qualities of Lyle is his clear moral compass – knowing what is right and wrong in the world. That quality translates to a life of meaning and purpose – one that I’m eager for our child to one day experience. 

 

Lyle is as goofy and silly as he is serious. Whenever we are around the many children in our lives, he quickly pivots to his sought-after accents of superheroes, story book characters, and Sesame Street personalities. It’s heartening to see how he connects with children and assures me what an amazing father he will be. 

 

I am fortunate to be married to Lyle. To experience and explore life together is truly a blessing – a blessing I can’t wait for our future child to experience with us.
